Valley Medical Group’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee Mission Losing MassHealth coverage is a Qualifying Life Event (QLE), which allows members to enroll in a plan through the Health Connector outside of the regular Open Enrollment Period. Members can visit or call customer service at 1-877- MA ENROLL (1-87) to learn more or enroll in a plan. If you think you may no longer be eligible for MassHealth, other health coverage options are available, such as an affordable plan through the MA Health Connector. Look out for a blue envelope in the mail and make note of the important deadlines. MassHealth will mail you information about your health benefit that may require you to take action to keep your current coverage. Current members under the age of 65 can create an account by following the link provided on the back of your MassHealth notices or by visiting /masshealthlogin.Ĥ. An MA Login Account is the fastest way to renew your MassHealth and Health Connector coverage, update your information, and report changes to your household. MassHealth wants to make sure we have the latest information for you and all members of your household, so you get the best benefit you qualify for.ģ. These include a new job, address, changes to your income, disability status, or pregnancy. Make sure MassHealth has your most up to date address, phone number, and email so you do not miss important information and notices from MassHealth.Ģ. What can you do to be prepared for your Masshealth renewal? These renewals will take place over 12 months. Starting April 1, 2023, all current MassHealth members will need to renew their health coverage to ensure they still qualify for their current benefit. IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR OUR PATIENTS WITH MASSHEALTH We will continue to remain apprised of updates in best practices and ask for your cooperation when policies and procedures need to shift or be updated. Thankfully, we are now in an era where things have shifted, we have substantial population-level immunity from infection and vaccines, treatments that work, and currently a variant of Covid-19 virus that is less dangerous. We hope that as a community we can continue to support and respect one another and allow each person to navigate their personal safety, as they deem appropriate. We understand that there will be a range of reactions to these decisions. Masks will still be required for individuals with signs of respiratory illness or concern for Covid-19. Masks will no longer be universally required for patients, staff or practitioners who do not exhibit signs of respiratory illness.Īnyone who wishes to wear a mask is welcome to do so.
